Unfortunately, while Australia seems to get equal treatment with other brands (eg. Apple), we seem to be a bit down the list with Garmin. Has anyone seen stock in Australia?
I picked up a Black Sapphire 5S from JA GPS in North Sydney at lunchtime today. They had just got a few different variants of the 5 in stock, including one black sapphire, lots of 5X too. The black sapphire 5S was the only 5S variant they got in and I think there were only 2, one of which I purchased.
First impressions are it looks much more elegant than my previous forerunner 630 that I used to wear all the time but it's going to take some time to get used to not having a touch screen. Straps on the 5S are much thinner than the 5, which are also thinner than my previous 630 strap.
If anyone is looking for a F5 slate grey, PM me... Due to a funny situation (not), I now have both a standard F5 and the black Sapphire version. Cannot really wear two watches at once!
I also have the yellow Quickfit band from the Sapphire version, that I will throw in with the slate grey version, as I will never wear it. Aussie stock and will obviously discount it.
