Just like an aggravating, but anxious kid.

I was happy with my 405, then the 410, then maybe 605, 610, F2, now F3. F3 works for the most part. Its crashed on me. Its locked up on me. But I still like it. It does much more than I need, but I can live with that. the 5x does even more than I need. But I dont know if I'd like maps or not. But I do like the idea of more memory and faster processor. That spells future proof usually. I might not like mapping. Ok. so I may not use it. I might not like the OHRM, though I hope it works. If not. So be it. I really really hope it wont lock up during my next 50miler, 100k or 100miler. That really blows. It blows that I cant charge it while its on my wrist. But eh... I can hold it while charging, or faster it to my pack. Ultras are hard, holding a while during recharge. Cake. I'm excited. I'm prepping my F3 for resale, hoping to reduce the chunk the F5x is setting me back. But my preorder is in.

Got mine today from a little outdoor shop in Germany (Wiesbaden) :cool:

So far, so good... the charging cable is ridiculously short, but thats my only gripe until now. The size is more or less the same than the F3 and it feels similar on the wrist.

Going to take it for a MTB ride tonight.

Have not heard of 5X or a 5S being out in the wild anywhere in the world yet.

Garmin was apparently selling them at the DC marathon over the weekend, there are folks on Instagram that picked them up.

Look over on the 5/5s thread. Tons of people are getting them. CT, Cotsworld, Bestbuy all shipped out orders already, but none of the 5x. Also there are many mom and pop stores selling the 5 as of Monday.

I've spoken to Cotswold in the U.K. today and been told my 5x should be dispatched today or tomorrow.

I was told the same - they have split my order from the 15 Jan. The 5x is busy being picked and the 5s will ship in April. No tracking number yet though.

just chatted with Cotswold - my 5X is being "picked" now and is on track for Shipping tomorrow (order from Jan 15th morning)

I just chatted with them too - my order from the 16th is awaiting delivery so they didn't get very many 5Xs in at all! They hope to get more later this week.
