I think it will be good to have one central place to have the latest news people here about the updated release date. DCR said it looks like early March. The garmin site says 5-8 weeks but thats the default time on all new products. Everywhere I read it says "By end of Q1" which is the end of March. Rei still doesnt have it listed yet either. Has anyone heard anything more specific?
Did you call them to find out ? Their website isn't real time then since you can put 3 in your basket and checkout...
Yes, I called them. They really do have them in stock. And that number I mentioned was about the F5 Sapphire, so maybe they have a different number in stock for the regular ones.
Bad news for cotsworld pre-orders. I enlighted their customer service that their competitors in UK have received their first batch but they still like to repeat their mid april message which is their latest update from garmin which was weeks ago. After trying really hard to convince them to get an update from garmin I think I got through and it seems like they are going to try to get an update from their sales rep. I dont understand why they are so afraid of calling garmin to get an update. Its not a big deal if mid april is still ON, all i expect is them to stay updated.

Cotswold are a bit like this I'm afraid - given that other UK retailers are getting Fenix 5 models (not X) I expect that they will also have had a delivery that the CS guys don't know about yet. I've not seen any evidence of 5X deliveries yet so I'm expecting mine to arrive sometime in April.
Still no word from CleverTraining US. Ordered a black sapphire F5 on January 4th.
same for me, ordered 5s in white/silver on 1/4 - they did same its still on target for sometime between now and early april tho... not like that actually helps
