Finex 5 GPS signal weak

Hello Folks,

My Finex 5 Almost 10 days now while I do outdoor activities, should waiting for GPS signal usually what I know changed from red color to green, but what happened changed to orang color do my understanding is GPS signal there but weak signal my watch updated and everything going perfect

even I borrow my friend finex5 too I saw the gap on my pace

any ideas can help me out

Hi there

Perhaps your EPO is not updated, you can test that by doing the following:

From the watch face, press and hold the Up/Menu button.
Select Settings.
Select About.
Scroll down to last page to view EPO status (you have to press the down key around +10 times (mine is 15 times)

If expired then you got tree options

1) Install Garmin Connect on your mobile device and sync.

2) Install Garmin Connect on your compmuter and sync.

3) Start a new activity and wait for turning green (this can take up to 20 minutes).

Using Mobile/Computer pre-fetches the calculated satelites positions.
