Luckily I live in northern Germany and currently we have the best running weather you can imagine, with large woods and beautiful lakes close by - but we have to run alone!!!!!
Sounds like you have it sussed, but wouldn't it be great If Garmin just worked with Zwift with or without a footpod that would be great for loads of Garmin users.
I'm using an iPad with the Zwift footpod, so all I'd like is the heart rate and possibly stride data shared with Zwift so that I could see it on the iPad as I run on the treadmill. Garmin could even work with Zwift to provide enhanced data to Garmin watch users.
Ideally, on the treadmill run, Garmin would share all its data with Zwift in real-time and after the run, Garmin would collate all the info into Garmin connect.
