GPS Software update 2.30

GPS Software update 2.30 just showed on my Garmin Express this morning with description: 'GNSS Software Release' ??... the last beta GPS was 2.24 so it is an update

I am 'out of town' and didn't take the USB cable, so can't update,maybe it will upload OTA during the night.. any one has it in the watch? any changes?

I forgot to mention in my previous post that after installing GPS 2.30, GPS on a run I did produced a perfect route. GPS has been quite good, however, in the earlier version also.

I do believe (at least so far) the battery drain after an activity is significantly less. Started an activity with 96% battery, rode to work 40 minutes. When I arrived at work 6 hours ago it was at 91, now it is at 88. Much better than before!

I have the 2.30 GPS update on my 5 plus, did an OW swim...absolutely no improvement. None. Worst Garmin watch I've ever owned...want so badly for this to be fixed...

i dont have problem with gps 2.24 on ows...i did an 11km race before 2 weeks..i will try with 2.30 the next sunday and i will inform you
