Incidence Detection on connected device

If I've connected my Forerunner 945 to an InReach device, will it automatically send the Incidence Detection alerts?

My 945 automatically will text selected individuals if I fall or have some other incident.  The text includes my coordinates, etc.  It happens automatically; it's not something I need to trigger.

I know that the inReach devices can call for help, but you have to trigger the call by pushing the SOS button.  Does it also send messages if the watch detects an incident?

(Also, can it send the SOS if the emergency button on the watch is pressed, or do I have to dig the inReach device out of my bag to send an SOS?)
