No settings have changed on my watch (it was set to record activity) I have switched record activity on / off several times. Rebooted watch several times, also rebooted phone.
IOS 26.1 / iPhone 15 Pro Max
Any ideas? Thanks

We are waiting for a firmware update this quarter. That should solve the problem.
Done a VDO years ago about Garmin S2, where I did completely erase the content of the flash drive.
The part where I describe the content of the drive might give you some insight of what/where/how to look…
So I erased ALL activities from the watch (found the setting on the watch to do this)
Did a full update via Garmin Express. All okay.
Played a round yesterday afternoon (after the update) and that did…
This issue started after 23.20 update (about 4 months ago).
Several threads with different suggestion to solve the issue but no clear fix so far.
Firmware 23.20
Anyone experiencing activity upload issue to Strava after 23.20 upgrade?
Thanks, All of the settings on my watch are correct (or should be for recording an activity). this is not just one round, I play almost every week and none of them are showing in Connect (I don't use Strava)
I just ran another update via Express and it came up saying "some files couldn't be uploaded to connect" "you may want to manually remove these files"
Looking at the dates on them they seem to align with times I finished rounds of golf on my watch, I am (at present) unable to clear the files even after following the instructions. It says they have been cleared, run update again and then the same error comes back.
2597867 - It sounds like you're on the right track, but I'd like to have you try to delete only the golf activities from Nov '25. If that had been corrupted, it could cause issues with the rest of your activities syncing as well. Once that file is deleted, also empty your computer's trash/recycle bin.
I believe you've also already checked this, but you'll want to ensure the Record Activity setting is enabled. Here is more info on how to do that: My Golf Activity Did Not Transfer to Garmin Connect with My Scorecard
Hi
Record activity has been on the whole time, I have toggled it on and off and on again just in case
I have tried to delete the files via Garmin Express as per the instructions (tools & content > utils > Clear Upload.
Green Banner "Cleared Upload History!"
Start update again. > Preparing update > There was an error installing update > Some files could not be uploaded..."
The same list of files keeps appearing.
I have repeated this over five times now, just going round in circles on the app.
Should I factory reset the watch?
Thanks

Thanks for the update. I'll keep an eye out for it.
Hello
I am still unable to clear the corrupted files in Garmin Express, it keeps saying they are deleted and then I get the error again.
Is there another way to delete the files or is factory resetting the watch my only option?
Thanks
In Windows, you can access the watch the same way as any USB key using explorer.
Simply navigate to the Activity folder and delete the Fit file based on time.
I don't have a windows machine at home (work one is locked down) I only have Mac, tried and MTP app and that didn't work. Will try a few more thought. Might have to make a trip to my inlaws. Cheers
