add 7-wood to list of clubs

Hello,

On the list of clubs to choose from, a 7-wood is not available. Is it possible to create an option for this club?

Hi yes I would like to add a feature so that we could manually name clubs to show up on the Garman app i.e. 7 wood, 9 Wood, 10 iron. Ie I would like it to showup on the hole review on the GOLF app as 7W…

I am hoping so. We need to keep adding interested customers to the ticket as they come in so that our engineering sees it as a high priority suggestion.

Is there any progress on implementing the adition of a 7-wood to the garmin golf app, its very fustrating when trying to analyse my stats. I can´t differentiate my 7-wood shots from my 5-wood since I had to use this method to include the 7-wood as a 5-wood, I can name it 7-wood but its still a 5-wood to the app.

One of the extremely frustrating things with some apps, including this Golf App, is they don't tell what & when enhancements and fixes are being added. There have been two releases of the app in the past two weeks. It's pretty easy to add another club to the picklist. I wish the version history said more than "Thanks for Using Garmin Golf!" over and over.

There's a 1 Iron in the list but no 7 wood???

Right!? I can't remember the last time I even saw a 1 iron. Makes me think programmer's don't golf much.

yes, i would like option to add clubs, such as my 5 hybrid and 7 wood - not sure why they aren't on list, or able to be added

Hey Garmin Support, Is it really that difficult to add a 7 wood to the list of golf clubs on your database?

Please let everyone know why you seem reluctant to make the change?

If it is data space then i can see that being a stumbling block but. Really? in this day and age I could let you have a few TB from my hosted account, or even buy a few SSDs for you if you still have in-house hardware.

I am sure it can be done. Just let us know why?

If you think about it. It is the older guy that buys the latest kit, the older guy that buys into golf and the older guy that will be buying 7 woods.

Just want to add my vote for add the 7 Wood to the clubs list! Can't have accurate data with a club missing. Most of the women I play with all have a 7 wood in their bag.
