Attack angel

Hi,

Does anybody else think that the attack angel on the R50 is pretty step in comparison with for exampel trackman. My son who i is a very god player has an attack angel of -8 to -9 and sometimes over -10 degrees on the R50 with the 7 iron while trackman shows -4 to -6. My son is a very god player who also compets in tournaments.

We have tested this against diffrent trackmans and also another garmin R50 in diffrent enverioments device with the same results.

The woods and drivers are more inline with trackman. The stickers on the club ar all set correct.

  • Not sure if this makes a difference or not but check to see if the R50 is level front to back and side to side. The back to front would be done just by whatever it is sitting on. My back to front is ever so slightly off plumb. Leans slightly forward. Side to side is dead level.

Im exactly 18” to the middle of hitting area. So I hit between 15 and 20” area.

  • Thanks,  dont think it can be that but i will use my leveling tool just to be sure it if the unit itself isnt plane. The diffrent floors we have the unit standing on have all been level.

But we had the same problem with the R50 in golf store where they helped us set it up. The sales person couldnt explaine why it showed such diffrence.
