  • Inreach Mini firmware 2.40 and 2.50 release

I just updated my Mini with Garmin Express to version 2.50 which was released now in beginning of November. There was also a 2.40 released in October. Neither release is documented in the release notes at this moment (https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?fa...qL9Lma0Vy2ueL7 only shows up to 2.30) and unfortunately I didn't do screen shots of the fixes. But there were quite a lot.

After fully charging inReach Mini, I let it run inside doing nothing. The charge dropped from 100% to 10% after 13 hours.

    Updated FW to V2.50.

Went for a walk of 1.06 hr and 1.66 miles while recording every 30 sec with Send OFF. Back home synced to Explore site which synced track to MapShare, https://share.garmin.com/StuNicol3.

Going to do another shelf test of battery run down.

My similar test after updating to V2.50 showed a substantial improvement in battery drainage: 100% to 10% in 22 hours.
