  • Programming intervals.

    Hi. Just want to know if the following is possible to program into my 310xt.

    15min w/u
    3km@4:03/km
    2 min Rec
    2km@3:51/km
    2 min Rec
    1km@3:43/km
    2 min Rec
    800m@3:35/km
    10 min w/down.
    Did this run today and couldn't work out how to put in to the intervals.
    I ended up stopping the watch during recovery and restarting for each component.
    Surely this is possible on such a great device???

    Sure, you can make an "Advanced Workout"

    Each step of the workout has a duration and a target.

    Duration can be distance, time, until your heart rate hits a certain range, or just open (until you hit the lap button manually).

    Targets can be a pace range, a heart rate range, or no target.

    There may be some other options there.

    So you can't specify an exact distance, time, and pace. But you can specify an exact distance or time and a pace range.

    So your workout might be:

    step 1: duration 15min, no target
    step 2: duration 3km with a pace range target
    step 3: duration 2 min, no target
    step 4: duration 2km with a pace range target
    etc.
