My new Explore 2 arrived yesterday. Today I am struggling to go through all the settings to get it working as I want it.
My use case is creating a route in Cycle Travel, transferring it to the Garmin, then riding it. Simple. So I am mainly disabling stuff I do not want.
However there is one thing that I do want and I think should work, but I cannot enable it. i.e. some audio beep of upcoming turn, and another sound to indicate off route.
My first ride out was in sun with sunglasses so the screen was difficult to see. I missed 2 turnings and my device was mute, no audio warning, it took me a while to realise I had gone wrong.
I have Tones ON, and Navigation Alerts ON - Nothing happens.
How do I set this up please
I can get voice route guidance on my connected phone, but that is not what I want. Just a simple beep from the Garmin is what I want. A review that I read indicated that it should do this.
