The reinstallation of the app worked for one run and now its back to incorrect time/date. Painful. Also doesn't show elapsed time.
  • Yes I noticed this on a recent 4 hour ride, all three times were 4:02:16, where in reality the elapsed time was more like 5 hours. With this in mind I went back and noticed all my rides doing this since Tuesday 9/12/14 (9th Dec) . The last ride that was correct was 6/12/14. So I've been having this problem since 9th December.
  • Just to update this. I think the problem is to do with the iPhone GC app. I just uploaded this morning's ride via Garmin Express on the computer and it worked fine. Start time correct and elapsed time is correct.

Garmin support told me to update the firmware. Thanks for that deep advice. Hate how Tech Support treats everyone like a Luddite. Firmware update has been done a number of times.
  • As a further update, I edited may latest ride's name using the Garmin Connect iPhone app and this stuffed up the start time and the moving and elapsed times. Clearly this app has a glitch within it.

I am having the exact same problem, with the activities moved 11 hours forward. It's particularly annoying as it shifts my afternoon rides and runs into the next day.

It is doing this with both my Edge 510 and Forerunner 620, so it seems to be a GC problem, particularly iOS.

Having the same problem with my Vivofit uploading via Connect App. Says I started 8 hour earlier which also happens to push me to the previous day....so annoying.
  • I am also uploading via iPhone. But the time seems to be off via IOS also
  • Did any of you edit the name of the activity from GC on your phone? I was able to verify the time changed when I just gave my activity a name. I deleted the activity, re-uploaded the data, and the time was correct. Then I again changed the name and the time went off again.
  • Yes KARLW2000, that is exactly what happened to me. Uploaded via computer fine. Edited name on iOS App, but that stuffed up the start time, and the Moving and Elapsed times.

Over the weekend I didn't have the issue with my Garmin 220, I uploaded via iOS and re-named no issues. Note I don't believe i have done an update on it in a while. However this morning after doing a workout with my vivofit, I uploaded and change name and the timed changed. I have deleted the pairing from my phone and established it as a new identity to see if that works tomorrow.
