Cannot upload to garmin connect

Same here. FR10 that on Sundays (contention obviously) will NEVER connect. Garmin forces you to use their link but IT DOESN'T WORK RELIABLY. I can't tell you how much time I've wasted trying to get my wife's FR10 to just sync and give her some stats - and yet it's just one issue after another despite all my efforts to follow Garmin updates, instructions, etc.

Total waste of time.

Don't buy Garmin! You're better off with ANYTHING else.

Me too I've updated, rebooted, switched ports and tried the old uploader.... everything, but 220 wont sync.:confused:

The server is down and no one is able to sync. The only thing to do is just be patient, as I'm sure the problem is being worked on. No need to uninstall/reinstall, or try every 15 minutes, as the server will be back as soon as possible, I'm sure.

Ah, so it's not just me then. Oh well, I can wait. I guess it's to do with the time changes and we need to wait until the webmaster gets to the office on Monday.

A couple of folks need to calm down a little, it's not as if anyone's died ... :)

I have 705 and I am having problem uploading data via garmin connect. Any suggestion?

I cannot upload today.. i get an unknown error. since this afternoon.

So with yet another day that the Garmin systems are failing in one way or another, it seems that the next step is to figure what devices are best alternatives to Garmin. I have a 620. Anyone have suggestions for comperable devices?

Just swapped phones and wanted to update/sync my vivofit...tried all afternoon and couldn't get it to work. Uninstalled app, deleted my vivofit from the garmin website, tried everything possible///

I attached the screenshot of the failure...it appears to register online, but when it tries to upload the data stored on the vivofit, it chokes and fails...it must be something hanging on the Garmin website as it never sends any data.

I really like this device, but the Garmin uploads and issues with syncing my data is starting to become irritating and troublesome...might have to start looking else where. very very sad and pathetic from garmin.

On the 31st my uploads from my fenix 2 watch worked fine, today run, swim, bike are not working at all. The error message i get on garmin connect is "internal server error".

I'm having the same issue. Can't upload any activity from today 2014-11-02 and I needed the data for my coach. I tried to manually upload the .fit file but that also didn't work. I even uninstalled Garmin Express from my Mac, delete all garmin data on laptop and reinstalled and still no success.

Found out that I could upload to Strava to view the top speeds, disstance and heart rate. I manually uploaded the same .fit file to strava and it worked like a charm. lol. Maybe Garmin should get Strava to design the software...
