Garmin Connect "upload" button not working

The "upload" button is taking me to the Garmin Express installation screen rather than uploading data.

I cannot use Express in its current form as it does not support shared Garmin devices on a single computer.

I've raised this issue before and it has not been satisfactorily resolved.

I seem to be penalised for owning several Garmin devices.

Clear your browser cache (from the time the problem started), worked ok afterwards for me this just now.

I think this will happen again as Garmin try to push us towards using the Modern dashboard and Express.

I've found a work a round to the issue of multiple users and Garmin Express. This arose because I upload data from several Garmin devices to different accounts from the same computer. Garmin Express is OK for a single device, single user, single computer which, I guess suits the majority. After I installed Express, as soon as I connected a device used by another family member, Express uploaded the data to my account.

Workaround: Switch to Modern but do not install Express. To upload data, plug in your device and let the PC recognise it. Click the menu bar, select Activities, then click Import, top right. The import function now allows you to import the raw .fit files from your device. Click browse, find the device in "My computer" then navigate to the Garmin/Activities folder and select the .fit file. This will then upload as normal.

clearing my history has worked - thank you!
garmin you need to stop this happening, its impacting a lot of people - my sporty friends are posting about it on facebook now.
also remember some of us have 305's which arnt compatible with garmin express or manual uploads so without connect upload we are totally stuck!!
