Under the new Garmin connect software the course detail is no longer displayed. In the old Garmin connect I was able to create a course, make it public, copy the link and e-mail it to people. Under the new Garmin connect the course detail is lost. Example: http://connect.garmin.com/course/5791758 (the old software)[/COLOR] http://connect.garmin.com/modern/courses (the new software). Does anyone know who to remedy this?
No help, but I have issues also. Between last night and today, I've mapped the same 107 mile course about 7 times (I can see it in my dreams now). Every time I finish and hit save, it kicks me to the log-in page, and whether I log-in (which I'm already logged in) or try to go back, the course is gone. Getting frustrating, any ideas? I've used this feature in the past with no problems at all.
What browser are you using - in the past I've had issues with IE kicking you back to login screen when trying to carry out certain functions - I now use firefox for most things but at the moment that gives me some other issues (in old connect) such as not being able to select dates from a calendar when creating a goal so I currently do thatin IE9. I suggest you try different browsers but in the meantime log the issue with Garmin support
I am very new to Garmin (2 days!!). Had 3 years with Bryton. Garmin is great machine but mapping tool is terrible. I am having same problem plus there are many roads that the tool wont let me plot a track point on... some of these are main roads! Also when I do manage to design a course on Garmin Connect and follow the course there is no elevation data... there is if I import GPX file from an external source into the Garmin device 'New Files' folder. Given up already so plot and import my courses from Map My Ride.

I've tried mapping the course on different browsers but still when I click on save it doesn't save my course and takes me back to the login screen!!! Grrrrr!!

The same here, using IE10, but it seems there is no solution? Making a new course is not easy, with the map sometimes moving when I don't want it to, and not moving when I do want it. I'll stop with it I think.
