Unable to upload

Since 2 days ago, i am unable to manually or automatically upload any activites from my 510 as well as my 220. Strava uploads are working fine with the devices. Few friends having similar issues with their 910xt.
Another West Australian... first good news in the past two hours is finding this thread. I have an Edge 705 updated the Firmware, Garmin Connect Communicator, Did Master Rest, etc with no luck and just constant "Uploading" that never works. The really odd thing though is updating the Firmware and Master Reset are supposed to wipe the data on the unit, but all the old data is still there. I did have to go in and reset all the Displays, Units, etc.
Both myself and my son have a GArmin 810 and both cannot upload our rides.! Common Garmin it has now been 8 days or more since the problem happened and us useres are now getting antsy!
I have Oregon 600, I load the data to Base Camp, export to gpx. And when I upload to connect it says unable to upload. If I import same gpx file to Training centre and export it again, then the upload works, unfortunately I lose the temperature data in this procedure.
Another user in Western Australia....couldn't upload from either my FR610 or my Edge 800 after the "site maintenance" last week. Yesterday (Sunday) having logged another run I got the FR610 to upload data from the ANT stick but still can't upload via USB from the Edge 800.
Someone posted on the GC Facebook page that "Yep, I reckon that's it. I am Perth based and the same problem. I changed my timezone to China (still) GMT+8) and it worked." Haven't tried it myself yet.
