my uploads this week show the time elapsed from the start of my commute to work and end when I commute home i.e. it shows a 10 hour ride rather than 1 hours actual riding time. This also effects the averages. Is this a problem with my device or with Garmin connect?
I have just noticed the same issue also. It also now shows and extra .01 of a mile for my total mileage even though I deleted my partial mile and it doesn't show up on the individual splits. The miles aren't showing on the map either when I check off that box.
I have 305 and am having same problem. Ran for 4 hours, which was the correct overall time. It had me down on Garmin Connect as Moving time of 1.58hours! Dont have auto pause on and i dont stop. Walk sometimes but not stop. It is really weird. Distorts all my data and i have to change it manually. Annoying but reading lots of posts on here it looks like it is a software issue. I hope it gets sorted soon.
Garmin, fix this already! Any logged runs containing a stop are incorrect pace-wise due to this error. Just got back from a run. Here's the comparison:
Garmin Connect Summary for same run:
Distance: 18.04
Time: 1:35:21
Avg Pace: 5:17/km
Also, on splits page, Avg Pace and Avg Moving Pace show as identical, but Avg Moving Pace has one very slow split, for the km where I took a 5min washroom break. See run data here if interested.
I've also been having this problem, and also only for a couple weeks. If you copy your splits into a spreadsheet they add up to the correct time, but somehow any time you pause your watch Garmin Connect acts as if it was still running.
