Need I say more, it´s been years since folks first brought this up as a much needed feature for Garmin Connect. I am still using another website in addition to Garmin Connect JUST to track my shoes´ mileage. Come on, it shouldn´t be that complicated to add this type of feature. You already have the best customer service out there. It would be great if you could also make sure that you are the ones providing the best software for using your own products. Thanks.
This is completely asinine that something this basic is not offered and has now been requested for YEARS and has still NOT been accomplished!? I bought my first Garmin this year at the age of 38 and I just assumed this would be a NO-BRAINER for the "KINGS" of the running tech world!?!?!? If this doesn't get remedied quick I will sell my piece and move on to another company like Nike that I KNOW offered this most BASIC of features for real runners!!!!!!!!!!!

+1 on this. I'm using a combination of GC and RubiTrack, with the latter providing the athlete log and activity tracking features which I hope will someday be incorporated into GC.
I would very much like to see equipment tracking be a part of the new Garmin Connect. I currently use a different training log site to track running shoes and which bike I was riding.
+1 for me, too. I use another tool only to record shoe mileage. I use more than a pair of shoes. The details I would like to have in this feature are: - Insert more than a pair of shoes - When loading an activity, select the shoes I use to run that activity - disposing shoes with too much mileage (no more in use) - total mileage per pair
