Garmin Connect Web unable to update edge 500 because of birth date

unable to update edge 500 because of birth date

I have recently bought a edge 500, the firmware is all update to date. When trying to update my max heart rate and zones. It keeps asking for me to enter my birthday, how ever i can not see a field on my personal info to do so.

i have attached the personal info window

Any ideas?

I'm currently having the same problem as you. I've just tried to do the same thing. What browser are you using?

Same issue

I am having the exact same issue. A box comes up telling me what I need to change in order to send info to my device, the only box with a cross is 'date of birth' and there is nowhere to input date of birth!

I have the same problem too! I wanted to change my HR zones, but can't upload it to the 500. I can't see where to set my birthdate anywhere.

Hi I Have the same issue.

It is a problem with connect. garmin.com, so managed to do a workaround by installing the garmin training center desktop application. Set the settings there incl. birthday and send it to the device. Now it works and max HHR% and HHR% fields now gets values, where they did not before.

Same issue. Tried Mozilla v14 and IE9. Tried on 3 different machines, so this is def a Garmin connect web issue. I tried Garmin Training center and didnt work for me. Contacted Garmin support on this issue. Will see what they have to say about it. My GF has the same issue as well.

P.S. I have Edge 500 and she has Edge 800.
