Garmin Connect and Facebook.

When I share a workout from Garmin Connect to Facebook, my distances in miles. I want them in kilometers. My watch are set to kilometers, my Garmin Connect account is also set to km. Before I share the workout from Garmin Connect account the distances are in kilometers, but when the link is opened on Facebook, it changed to mil. What am I doing wrong?

I can't edit it like you show. But even if I could I don't want to have to do that. It's a bug and a very annoying one.

Garmin, please have this sorted out. To all friendly people trying to help, you're welcome but please do not litter the post by telling how all of our Facebook friends should click the link and then click to view in metrics. Also, we know how to change units in our own Connect profile. It's just that we don't like our Facebook wall post to use mile units while we and our friends are in metric countries. Yes, it's just that, our Facebook wall post with Garmin Connect summary.

Edit: and editing/typing all distance and speed information by hand in metric units is not really automated sharing, but still thanks for the heads up MARTIN.J.D! Your manual workaround gets us there, but we still all want this automated, I suppose?

    Tx!

Yeah - I am collecting all these posts! Everybody has the same issue it appears.
  • I've got the same issue. I wrote to Garmin support and they replied that they don't consider this as a fault. I also wrote to them on their facebook page and they didn't even respond...
