Download this to get Google Maps back in Garmin Connect!!

https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/fbeiifjiimghhaijicmdphhpockpbldc

From this website you can download Gfix by Xavier Cany.

For users using the Google Chrome web browser, you will be able to see Google Maps on the Activity 'Details' page.

This functions on Mac and XP computers.

A great first step - hopefully similar solutions will be found for the 'Player', 'Explore' and 'Dashboard' pages in GC.

I have just released a new version of Gfix that allow laps control and the ability to view the map in full screen. http://tinyurl.com/gfix77

Taking the map to full screen is AWESOME. Now I can really get a good look at an activity all at once.

    Thanks!

I did try to install it on chrome running on ubuntu (even if linux looks not supported). As a result I can't access anymore the garmin home page nor the garmin connect page, while other garmin stuff, like this forum seem to work.

    Uninistalling Gfix doesn't help.
    Firefox is not working either.
    Rebooting doesn't help.

On the other hand chrome and safari running on imac are working fine - they can access the garmin homepage (no gfix installed there).

    Any hint?
    Thanks
