What did you do GARMIN!??? I call out to everyone, to post their disappointment here. Let GAMIN know that they have ruined one of the best features of having a garmin watch. I loved to watch where I had been marching or running, but that is ruined now.

WE WANT GOOGLE MAPS BACK!!!

To the developers:
1. Please explain why you choose to ruin the fun of having a garmin watch?
2. Are you even thinking about changing it back? or will we just have to live with it?

If you use Chrome, there is a fix. Add an extension called Gfix. It replaces Bing Maps with Google Maps for the activities and item page (but not for the player).

In the Google Chrome web store, do a search for Garmin or Gfix and the app will pop-up. Install it and Google Maps will be restored. Unfortunately, it won't be restored for the "player", but it will be just fine on the main page.

I agree bring Google Maps back!

    Google is back!

On the Dashboard and Activity Details pages users may now choose either Google or Bing for their map provider!

Thank you Garmin for having listened! :)

I think the reason is that Bing is much easier to integrate into your applications. Google has not reallyt bothered too much with this side of it. I'm sure they'll catch up at some point.
