Can't see the track on the map

Hi there,

for some reason I can't see the track of my activity on the map in Garmin connect. But the track points exist. If I export it to KML and open it in Google Earth it's all there. The map in Garmin Connect even shows the correct area. Just the track itself is not shown. Only the "End" point of the workout. I have the feeling I just need to push a button or so :) Here's two screenshots, so you know what I mean.

First what it looks like in my activity view

And this is what it looks like if I paste the "Google Earth" link from my activity view into maps.google.com...

The track points are obviously there. Why aren't they shown on the map inside Garmin Connect?
  • Another ride today with no track displayed in GC. This time it is with the new 3.2 version for the Edge 705. This seems to be a GC issue as training center shows it fine. Is anyone looking into this?

  • I confirmed the problem is when the start and end track points are too close to each other. I exported the problem activities as a .tcx, used FirstObject XML Editor to remove the last 3 trackpoints of the last lap and used manual upload to upload the modified .tcx. The tracks now display fine. This is clearly a GC issue, when the start and end overlap too closely GC does not display the track on the map. One would think it would be a relativly easy fix.
