Ability to have recurring goals

The ability to set up recurring goals is an absolute must. The ability to have a weekly or monthly goal that automatically starts over every week/month is extremely motivating.

For example - I'd like to set a goal of running 15 miles every week or 60 miles of biking every week. I should be able to set these to automatically happen each week - without going through the trouble of restablishing a new goal every single week.

The "goal" feature is seriously missing usability without this feature.

+1 on all this, basic functionality that Garmin misses consistently. Great head units, crap analysis / planning tools. Seriously need to up the game.
  • Also concur on these suggestions. Goals in general need to be improved.

I'm looking for a way to enter a goal of something like a "30 mile week" or "26.2 mile run", with only having to set an end date. If my goal is to run a marathon this year, there is no current way to configure that on the site, is there?

I just sent a request regarding this problem-this configuration is available on free app as "runkeeper"

I agree, this was one of the features that influenced me to purchase a Garmin, I took it for granted that the goals would have been recurring on a weekly or monthly basis, most disappointed in my decision now. wish I had known this a month ago.

Also agree, goal need to be able to be recurring! I would have rather had that than a new GUI!
  • Garmin doesn't care.

A product with great potential, squandered by a company that has a reputation of poor customer service, and is unwilling to stand behind their product. Garmin Connect is clearly rushed, forced, and half-baked. No reoccurring goals? Seriously? A training system?

No bike totals on Garmin Connect?

No ability to flexibly schedule training plans?

Devices that break all the time?
  • It wouldn't take em much to add recurring goal, I have no idea why its falling on deaf ears.

    Hi,
I'm really really surprised to see my that you have to set your objectives every weeks/months, etc. This is absolutely unbelievable that Garmin do not support regular objectives or recurring objectives, and I'm very disappointed after putting so much money on a running watch. I'm pretty sure any iPhone/Android running app is able to deliver this.
    Hey Garmin, any help ??
