Please add the feature that shows how much time was spent in each heart rate zone. I need this information in order to train properly. Thank you.

I would also like to be able to see time spent in zones in Connect, like Polar Trainer software
  • +1.
Very useful feature. Maybe it's even possible to indicate the zones on the time/distance vs heartrate charts (eg. dotted lines). Color of data line changes for each zone.
  • Add another one. Here. I had a Cheapie Watch that displayed %time and Time in each zone. You have to input your Resting HR and Max HR, the other zones are calculated. I have to Download the raw data then upload it to other training software to get the Time in each Zone. I basically gave up trying to write an excel formula to do it. Just too many variables.

In Short could you please Add To GC

Zone Heart Rate Percentage Time Analyzer - This Feature is Past-Due

For months the Garmin Connect website indicates that it will be upgrading the Garmin Connect with a Analyzer. It is a must. When they are going to update it?

The update is past due. I am very disapointed on Garmin. I feel that I have been cheated and ripped off. For this main reason, I would not be recommending the Garmin.

If I had known that it would had taken so long time, I would had bought a Suunto. Matter of fact, Costco has one at a very good price.

As a diehard Suunto fan (I've used and owned the T3 and T6c), this is the ONLY portion that the Garmin 405 falls short. The T3 only has 3 zones and the T6c only has one zone on the watch so you need to know your zones while working out (The Suunto software breaks your workout into amount of time in your 5 zones however). The r-r capability and Training effect while cool, didn't change my workouts since I have specific work out plans.

I prefer to wait for the Garmin to update. Contact me if you want to buy either T6c or T3. :)

    HR Zone Facility

I think that this feature is essential to be developed. Its in Garmin Training centre and most other HR programmes. I find it really hard to train effectively without this data and have to get it from various sources to update coach.

Adding this would make a good piece of software great!

any date for this feature's release?

+1 for this idea. I see it was addressed in this thread. However, we still wait. This is a vital feature to any moderate to serious athlete's training. I see it on the Coming Soon but no date attached.

+1 here too! This is a very basic feature that is an important part of any HR-based training program for those of us without power meters.
