Help! Transfer of data 310xt

Any clues? my 310xt and ant agent are paired, yet the transfer of data keeps stating it has failed. I have not been able to download for the first time or been sent to the authorisation process.

    310XT won't up-load

    I've spent a couple of weeks with a new 310xt (replacing one that broke and had worked fine) and haven't got it to up-load any data. I'm on v2.2.11. I've installed, reinstalled, paired, cleared, re-paired, done hard re-sets, you name it. No sucess.

    Device is working fine in other respects. It goes to transfer for a second or so, then a message pops up on the Garmin app saying message trasfer failed, but no clue why or what to do. It'll go to transfer every couple of minutes with the same result...

    I've lost countless hours on this and would quite like my life back. Any ideas folks? I have a feeling it's something simple I've overlooked.

    If you watch the Garmin ANT Agent application while this is occuring you may be able to see the last item it is attempting to transfer. It could be that folder's contents is causing the issue. So you would delete that folder. For example, I've had issues in the past with the unit getting hung at transfering workouts so I deleted the workout folder located at

    (Windows 7\Vista)
    C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\GARMIN\Devices\[device ID]\Workouts

    If you're not sure where the hangup is occourring you could move the entire "device ID" folder out of the Users folder and try repairing and sending again. Additionally, verify that you have the latest GAA. As a last resort you could try a hard reset of your unit.
