You realize they had Thanksgiving badges 2022 and 2021 and probably older? They can just call it "Turkey day" like some others do. There is no reason you can't separate what it is now from it's past.…
History cannot be changed nor forgotten. Thanksgiving is not an offensive or controversial; labeling the holiday as genocidal is inaccurate and wrong. I'm not denying that certain events after did not happen or were not wrong.
While it sounds silly to be even arguing about a foolish badge, I just find it hypocritical that a company won't put out a Christmas badge because it's religious but have no problem advertising around the Christmas season to rake in the money. I realize that Garmin is a privately owned company and can do what they want but it's just silly to to cater to nonsensical murmurings of a minority group of people.
