Other Activities recorded not from my device (phantom activities)

I have a Garmin 245 and since yesterday it has recorded (on the app) 7 'other' Activities and I have no idea why. I have not asked it to do this. Do you have any idea why it is doing this and what I can do to stop it?

Always a good idea to periodically change your password. Also, it is possible to have activities show up in your account that are from the future. For example, I'm fixing a lot of corrupt fit files for other forum members. I test them by uploading to my own account. If the activity occurred in a time zone that is to my east and my current time has not caught up to the start time of the activity, it will show up as occurring in the future.

I have two workouts recorded in my Garmin Connect, that I did not do and are not on my Forerunner 245. Both were recorded while I was asleep (10.30pm and 12.45am), with my phone on charge. How did this happen?
