I seem to have two separate garmin connect accounts with the same email.

I got a Garmin watch here in China last October, and have been using the Garmin Connect app with it with no problem ever since. Today, I wanted to connect my Garmin Connect app with my fitness pal, but my log in information would not work. I double checked and the email I was using was the email I was logged into on my phone, but out of curiosity I went ahead and tried to create another account using the same email, and it actually let me do it. I started to think that maybe the email I was seeing on the app of my phone was for something else, so I logged out on my phone to log back in with the email that I had just created, and it is obviously the same account that I have been using because all of my data is still there.

When I try to log in with that information on my computer, it logs me into an account with no data at all, which is obviously the same account I created earlier today. This seems impossible and I am very confused. Could me being in China have anything to do with any of this.?

Same thing happened me today. Something is wrong with this Garmin APP

It is not possible to login with username, only email address.

Thank you for your help.

I checked and the two accounts are not the same and have two different usernames. The problem is, they use the same email, so I can not just log out and log back in with the correct account.

Have you tried logging in with your username to get to your other account? I'm still using a username when I login. I can also use my email address, but it is longer so I prefer the username.

Following the directions that trux gave, my display name is vivomove HR, and I can't imagine that is what I an sign in as. I can try it though.

Is the highlighted information what I am supposed to be finding? Because that name does not make any sense.

You can see the login information at the top:

GC Account name - in this case your email address
Profile Name (can serve to verify with the ID on the public User Profile of GC Web to verify whether it is really different a different account, or the same)
GCS Server - here you can see which server handes this account. Apparently China's server is for some reason isolated from the rest

Now, if you want to log into the same account on Garmin Connect Web and do not have the password, go first to the global Garmin Profile and try to log in there, or retrieve your password there. If you success, use the same login for GC Web. You will probably have to set the location on that page to China too, so that the same server is used.

... and if you know the password for your Chinese account (the one on your phone app), then you can go to the following address, replacing the string PROFILE_NAME with the long ID string labeled Profile Name from the screenshot you posted, and use the known password to log in (make sure and double check that you enter it correctly and exactly as shown on the phone, including the dashes, and respecting the character case!) - in this way you will be logged into the same account as on the phone.

Thank you.

I am able to log into my correct Chinese account from there.
But my original problem still stands, when I try to connect third-party apps to my Garmin Connect account, it will only connect to my American account which uses the same Email and password. Any ideas on how I can log into third-party apps using my established Chinese account?
