Creating segments in Garmin Connect

When I create a segment in connect the resolution of the start and stop points is not very good. I tried to stop on my route where I wanted the segments to start and stop but that did not help. I could not get the start and stop points I wanted to create the segment. I tried increasing the data recording interval during the ride to 1 sec but it had no effect. How can you get. Good resolution on where the segment starts and stops. Strava is so much better in this regard.

It's the same for me, it's impossible to create a segment starting and ending where you want with this low résolution.

and the ending point you choose is not the one that is appear on the created segment (it stops one point before).
