Garmin Connect sync to "Google Fit" and "Samsung Health"

Garmin Connect is a great sports tracking app. But a lot of people also want other features that are more health oriented. And this is where sending data from Garmin Connect to a service like Samsung Health or Google Fit comes in place.

No, why do you think Garmin should issue any official statements about 3rd party applications?

I think since thousands of Garmin users want this feature, if would be good to know whether Garmin is listening to its users or whether they are ignoring them - if they care about keeping those users, that is, of course.

Not sure whether Garmin really wants to support their direct competitors, but if you think they should, then suggest it directly to Garmin. It is not too probable your demand on the user forum will be seen by them.

And when you are at it, you can also send the same demand to Samsung, and ask them why Samsung watches do not send data to Garmin Connect.

IMHO, Google Fit is NOT a competitor to Garmin Connect. I think real, direct, competitors are Polar, Suunto, and Coros.

Anyway, would be great if Garmin listened to their costumers.

Samsung is a direct competitor to Garmin. Google indirectly too (Suunto runs on Google WearOS), and Google plans to bring the Pixel Watch this year to the market, so in fact it is already a direct competitor too.

Samsung is in a different "category"... who buys a Garmin Forerunner or a Fenix is a runner or a mountaineer (same with Suunto buyers)... Samsung, Huaweii, Amazfit are more "casual", not for serious runners or mountanieers.

So why don't you ask Samsung to allow the direct import of data from Garmin devices? Finally Garmin offers an API for the access to their data, so whoever is interested, may develop such interface. Incuding 3rd parties.

Really wow I have been trying to get in touch with health Sync and its been hard, we want to recommend Health Sync to our users, can you maybe connect us somehow? please? :)
