Corrupt FIT File Repair Requests

Hi,

I would like to load this file into any software, but all of them tell me that it cannot be imported.
For some reason the file is not working (the watch ran out of battery while it was tracking the hike), but I would really like to have it.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure I've understood your problems. But I "frequently" have issues downloading stored swim heart rate data (From Garmin HRM-Swim) to my Forerunner 965.

Former Member, this should work for you - 2020-12-28-12-31-38-fixed.zip

Unzip the file then import into Garmin Connect using the import data page.

Very strange file. Lots of corrupt data and that's why it is such a big file as the original fit file.
The Fit File Repair Tool found only 0.5 miles of good data.

Very strange file. Lots of corrupt data and that's why it is such a big file as the original fit file.
The Fit File Repair Tool found only 0.5 miles of good data.

Fun. It was a actually a 3 hour ride. The device took a few minutes to connect to my machine and then the made a couple of beeps and did nothing. I unplugged it and connected again and the activity wasn't shown. I actually had to use a file recovery tool to pull the fit file off of my device. It was deleted somehow.

Thank you very much! You guys are awesome! Do you find that corrupted files is a regular occurrence that is unavoidable or is there any preventative measures or general maintenance that keeps it from happening?

I appreciate this is not an ideal first post but could someone have a look at this one for me? It's a turbo session so not expecting any exciting location data but I'd still like to have it if possible.

I'd download the fix tool myself but I've got a mac so would have to do it in work.
