Garmin Forerunner 735xt wrong date and time

Hello, it seems that my watch doesn't recognize the time zone. It should be the 8th of January at 10.06 and my watch shows 21.56 the 7th of January.
I already sync with the app and try to turn off, but nothing changed. I try to change manually the time and that works, but not for the date.

acquire a gps fix by going outside and start a run activity, once your gps turns green, the time should be corrected from the satellites.

Mine still would not correct the time even when I tried the run or swim activity with GPS on. Any other fix?

Are you sure your time is set to "Auto"?

I have the same problem. I tried various outdoor activities to have it updated, no improvement. Not sure even the watch gets the GPS (it is on). Have you found a solution for yours?

I just had the same issue ie gps wasn’t activating when I started an activity - have now sorted it by changing the gps setting by going to menu -> activity settings -> GPS -> GPS +GLONASS

Then I went outside, started an activity, the gps turned on and my time and date have reset correctly.

Change your gps setting to GPS+GLONASS, then go outside start an activity - hopefully you’ll see the gps activate and the time and date reset - it worked for me!
