Calculate AVG PACE of a given range

is there a way to calculate the AVG PACE from km 3 to 13 ? or from minute 5 to 25 ?
Can't find an easy way in Garmin Connect WEB or Mobile App

    PLEAAASE Garmin get this fixed!!!

Not sure what exactly you want to have fixed, but if you want to see the average pace over any part of your activity, you can do it easily in the following way:

    1. On the concerned Activity screen select Trim Activity from the cogwheel menu (in the top left corner)
    2. On the Trim screen, click the tab Distance
    3. Enter Total Distance to the desired value - the time and pace will appear instantly at the top (if they don't simply click on the white space of the page)
    4. You can also set the Trim Start value, if you want to skip some part (i.e. the warm-up part)
    5. When finished, click Cancel to come back to the original activity without trimming it at all

Hi Trux. This is working. Thx. But risk of deleting the whole ride. The thread was about using two fingers at the pace diagram. This function does not give the average pace but just the difference in pace from start to end.

But with your solution its possible to see average pace for any given distance

  • But risk of deleting the whole ride

No risk at all. Before trimming or deleting an activity you are asked several times, and even if you'd somehow managed to go trhough all the confirmations, and finished with a trimmed activity, you can always restore it back (the will be Restore Original in the context menu of any trimmed activity)

That's a handy (albeit complicated) workaround. Though, please don't let this be the answer.  A simple 2-finger gesture to select a range ought to display useful  data for that range.  It would be a logical UI/UX in this era.

Just suggest it to Garmin. It is unlikely they would see your request here, on the user forum.

On the user forum, you can only get existing solutions
