Connect 3.19

I can't tell you how much I am distressed by your new system. I was happy with the old system and used it for almost a year.

I can't see my activities and your tech person was as frustrated as I.

It is so stupid to take a good system and totally ruin it.

I am now on my third Edge 1000. They have given me nothing but trouble.

Until today, I always thought that your tech support was the best. You have left your people up in the air and unable to help us.

Your management should be fired. They obviously don't know anything about running a company.
  • The New Garmin connect misses time recordings

Hello, in the latest garmin connect on PC i miss the time documention in the activities title. Thats very bad in case you did f.e. multiple activities und you will find t a specific f.e. at 10:36.
A lot of things are hard to find now with this new version of gc, absolutely no improvement for the user. Is the a way to work with an older version of gc on PC?
  • My Activities display shows date, a general "cycling" label, distance, time, average speed, elevation gain, and calories. I am not interested in "calories" but would like to see what "course" was ridden instead for a given ride. But there seems no way to display the "course?" I can see the course for each ride, one at a time, indicated when I double click on a given ride, but it never shows up in the table of rides. Wouldn't people want to see what course they rode? (Or am I the only one who cares?)

I've actually emailed Garmin about this very thing, as i like to compare my times on courses, especially the ones that i do regularly, so that i can see if i've improved my overall time rather than just segment times
  • I have emailed Garmin this morning about the issues I have been experiencing with 3.19, hopefully they respond positively. The more I use 3.19, the more I miss the functionality that has been removed from the previous version!
  • I don't see the "Course" indicated in the Activities listing like it used to be, nor is there an option to show it. Am I just missing the option for showing the Course name for a bicycle ride? I ride on maybe a dozen different courses and like (or rather used to like) to compare the times for the same course. I don't see how to do that with the new version. Maybe I'm missing something obvious?

No you aren't missing anything, it isn't there, I've emailed Garmin Support about this

Activities Page: Quick Edit button link missing. Filtering has been down-graded.

Where has the 'quick edit' button link gone from the activities page?

There is a new drop-down, but only offers the sub-categories.

What if you need to go from Running to Cycling?

Given I have a forerunner 15 and there is no way to select the activity type before I start cycling. I think you've overlooked this problem.

If you try and bulk change your activities this should be possible to do all from one page.

As for filtering, come-on that's just bad......... Are you trying to make us all just go to strava?

Go to the Activities list and click onExport CSV.

The downloaded file called 'Activities.csv' has all the non-Connect IQ parameters and clicking on it will normally open Excel with the data arranged in columns.

    Garmin Connect New SW

Thank's for answer... but my meaning is still the new SW is a step backward...
    Before I had 11 parameters for each bicycle ride... /Start/Time/Distance/Elevation Gain/Avg Speed(Avg Pace)/Max Speed(Best Pace)/Avg HR/Max HR/Cadence/Calories/Total Strokes

Now how many clicks do I need to see this parameters in my excel file ? now better to enter manually this 11 parameters ??
    Total strokes disapeared?

    regards
