Hi SInce yesterday Search engine stopped to work in finding activities by keyword.
the behaviour is not related to browser or O.S.
Any feedback?
Thanks

Are they really trying to fix this broken/removed feature ? It's been nearly two months now !
  • <cynical> What feature? </cynical> :D
  • And the point I made earlier was that the next opportunity is just going to be another compromise from one's perspective as a consumer. Those opportunities already exist today, but I daresay neither ‘perfection’ nor the ‘best of both worlds’ – to the extent that you would be satisfied what you imagine 2017's technology promises to be capable of delivering – will be forthcoming as a product (or package) on the market.

no worries mate. Our 2017 product expections are miles apart.

    Fix coming?

    This is so annoying.
I use my maps for work . I use to search back past routes
    I have 1600+ activities .
    Please fix.
  • Anther user supporting the return of keyword search to GC Activities. It was a very useful feature and it is disappointing and frustrating to have it withdrawn. GarminConnect brings additional value to our Garmin device purchases and is a differentiator in an ever-expanding market of cycling and fitness computer products. Hopefully the company appreciates the value GC represents to its customers and will allocate resources to its development and maintenance accordingly.

Yeah me too. It been really bugging me for a while now. As an illustration, I think I have have set a PB for my commute to work this morning. I used to check by calling my work commutes all by the same name. I could then filter by name and order by time to see my quickest. Best I can do now is to filter by distance, with a very small range but that does pick up some non-commute rides too.

They messed up my two most important features - which kept me buying garmin devices rather than other makes, because I dont like Strava etc. GC used to be really good but the modern one is a confusing mess that doesnt always work properly and messes up my ride comparisons now that search by name is gone, and worst of all on the home page where you show goals, it used to have a line to show where you SHOULD be at this point in time against the goal. Now I know how many miles I have done towards it but not whether I am on track or not, unless I get a calculator out...

    Try this - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/explore

Doesnt work for private activities. And they have to be private because they include my home address and GC wont obscure that the way that Strava does...

  • Explore - no results

Using https://connect.garmin.com/modern/explore I get no results at all using or not any kind of filter.
    Embarassing
