Hi SInce yesterday Search engine stopped to work in finding activities by keyword.
the behaviour is not related to browser or O.S.

It's kinda ironic that the most likely keyword I'd be doing a search on is ‘pain’ (as in knee pain due to pes anserine bursitis, etc.).
No filter based on a drop-down list of enumerated entries predetermined by Garmin, or numeric values of some metric that the Forerunner series track for runs, will allow me to isolate the activities in which I experienced pain (noted in the contents of the freeform Notes field) and perform analysis based on frequency, operating conditions, performance, etc.
Garmin should consider to merge 'search in activities' function and the 'explore' function, which a search in activties (and courses/segments) as well.
How little do they think of their users - remove a function like this and not have the decency to let people know so we all waste lots of time looking for it, googling forums etc. I would think that by now this type of search is very basic. I have a very large number of runs, most of which are done in same area and much the same distance so the current search function is not much use. I have spent time naming them for this reason and now all that is useless with this basic function removed and not even the courtesy to tell us they were removing it/its broke/its being fixed.
Can Garmin please update us on this function??????????
It would be common courtesy to update us at this stage on what Your plans are Garmin, as if you are not going to fix it, I need to make alternative arrangements. THANK YOU

... and update us ASAP as to the progress on this issue. And stop treating your customers with contempt. We spend years naming our activities and you make them near impossible to retrieve because you can't be bothered to fix your own broken programming. Awful.
Could you reinsert SEARCH as non-working as a kindly reminder to your engineer.
BTW it lacks also the MAP functionality (working not properly as already highlighted)

I live in Holland and i was a enthiousastic Garmin user since 2011. I own a Garmin Forerunner 410 and a Garmin Edge 800. On 25-1-2017 i discovered that the search function in GC
did not work anymore and i reported this to [email][email protected][/email] and i got this as reply "The problem you have described is known to us and we are working hard on a solution. We have here no time to determine.When the problem is resolved, a software update will be released. This will be published on your Garmin Connect account" Then several e-mail discusions later i got this awnser "I would encourage you therefore to use the "feature request" section of our forum (in English) for this. The more reports we receive software team to the desire for a function, the faster this (again) will become a reality." Its the world upside down , we have to do a request for a function that was already there and that Garmin removed?! Come on Garmin, why don't you put an old and properly working ,version back so that i and many others are happy again.
