Hi SInce yesterday Search engine stopped to work in finding activities by keyword.
the behaviour is not related to browser or O.S.
Any feedback?

  • UNREAL "fix" to Activy Search

    I couldn't agree more with @stramenorca - seriously? To continually tell us on the status page they are working on it then remove it all together? What a "fix" - totally unacceptable! :mad: That was one of the most helpful features in activities to the point where I've requested it time and time again for the Connect Mobile app. I really hope Garmin reconsiders and actually provides a fix! :mad

    Guess they figured "out-of-sight, out-of-mind"? I hope this forum blows up and they listen? I also intend to submit a direct support request! Thanks for being the leading advocate on this... I'm right behind you and I'm sure the masses will be as well!

    Hey Garmin, Great kit, GC quite good -- but this is a backward step and real irritating. Please put the search functionality back so we don't have to download everything just to compare our rides.

    In any case you are perfectly right, the fool it's me spending money in Garmin stuffs with unreliable software, and no attention to the customers.

    If Garmin is going to downgrade Connect, it would be better if they; stated this clearly, and provided an export tool. If we want to save ride data there used to be an offline program, there is Strava; but whatever the solution it is better to know what the technology plan is.

    Keyword search

    Really? The fix for this problem is just to remove the search box? How hard can this be? What's the point of saving my workouts if I can't find them later?
  • Its not just a problem with the search

    Its not just search that's affected. Many people have been having trouble viewing routes on the map. There are other sections that I've noticed that aren't working too. Right now I can't save changes to activities. I can't view the charts for activities, such as elevation, pace and heart rate, and I can't view my notifications. The site hasn't been working properly for me for at least a couple of days now.

    They probably haven't removed the search functionality. It'll likely be that the part of the web page that displays the search box can't contact a required database or server and therefore doesn't display itself.

    No that was before when still there was search box and in the status page was stated was not working
    Now there is no search box and the status page is all green because they killed that functionality
