How do I remove myself from "challenges" on Garmin Connect?

I tried using the search tool on the forum but came up with zero results.

My problem is that I don't remember signing up for challenges but now I'm receiving 6-10 emails at a time (about 1xweek) informing me about my status in various challenges. How can I remove myself from these groups?

    Visit https://connect.garmin.com/modern/challenge

    Click the little cog in the upper right corner of your current challenge/s and select Leave Challenge

    Same here, but cannot 'leave' the challenge

    Man I'm having the same issue, and there seems to be no way to actually 'leave' the challenge. Yes yes I know about the little cog, but 'leave challenge' does not show up, only 'View Leaderboard', which takes me to the challenge results, and again - no way to LEAVE the thing.

    Looks like the offender is some account named 'GARMIN FRIENDS 9899' and man that person is FLOODING me with daily updates, tons of emails, etc. Killing me.

    Anyone else having this same issue with this same account?

    yes, there is no "leave challenge" when you click on the cog. please help. I just received about 6 more emails about the challenges!!!

    I have the option to leave challenges on the one current challenge I have. I select to leave and it's now gone.



    The 'view leaderboard' option is there only on a previous challenge.

    I finally stopped receiving the spam emails from "challenges". I elected to not receive any emails from garmin at all for any reason. Originally, that still didn't seem to work but for whatever reason, it has stopped coming into my emails.

    Find yourself in Members & Click Leave

    Find yourself in Members List & click Leave to right of your name.

    I have found myself in the Members tab, but there is no leave option to the right of my name. Tried in 2 browsers and on the app. Frustrating, as one of my groups auto adds all members to walking, running, cycling and swimming challenges - whereas I only walk and run.

    Leaderboards of Group Challenges always list all members, regardless whether they have logged any activity of the respective type or not. You have only the option to leave the Group, if you do not wish to be listed anywhere. You can also change the privacy settings, so that no step data and/or no activities appear on the leaderboards. Though your name will be still listed at the bottom of the leaderboard, with 0 attached.

    I had the same. If you go in to groups rather than challenges and leave the group the challenge is associated with it will remove you from all challenges
