Connect down again

For my taste I see this "sorry, down for maintenance" too often.

Besides that I can't sync my VAHR to GCM, which seems to be related.

Hey, Garmin, ever heard of high availability for web services?

Embarrassing

Ye Gods, you're all over this thread like a nappy rash. People are having issues with Garmin Connect. This is a forum about Garmin Connect. So the idea is that we come here to discuss issues about Garmin Connect. If you can't contribute anything helpful, please stop being a PITA and go away.

And still down for me in the UK this morning, for the third day.

Still down for me too. For the 2nd or 3rd day.
I'm in the UK. My wife's account is also affected.
I've tried accessing from work and form home (almost certainly different ISPs).
I've tried Chrome, IE and Firefox on Windows 7 Pro and Windows 8 machines. I use Chrome in incognito mode, which erases the cache when closed, as far as I recall.
My login works fine using the Connect Mobile app.
    All very puzzling and frustrating.
  • I'm also having issues currently it's only a minor annoyance as activities are still uploading via the iphone app and are available in Strava.

I've tested from home using Chrome and IE and from work this morning via our UK gateway and French gateway with the same result.

I'm going to leave until this afternoon before I raise a call with support.

Discuss all you want but it won't resolve your issue, only contacting Garmin will do that. Since many of us have no problems but a few do then solving individual account issues here is pretty nigh impossible. But it's your life ...

The fact is that Connect was down for a short period earlier in the week. That was corrected fairly quickly.

For anyone still having an issue the advice both from here and Garmin on twitter is to contact Product Support, but one action that seems to resolve it for some is clearing the browser cache.

Been down for me in the UK for 3 or 4 days now. I connect my Garmin and it automatically uploads but when I go onto the connect.garmin webpage I get this incorrect page and can't get to the website.

This is on a Mac desktop and Safari browser, I've also tried the Firefox browser on the same computer and that doesn't work either. I tried on my iPad, iPhone and they both work fine, I then tried on a Windows 10 laptop and it works, so my problem is with the Mac desktop

I spoke to the support team on the phone and they tried doing something their side to resolve my issue but it's still not working. They then told me there was a problem their side and it was being looked into so hopefully it will all be back up and working soon. Just need to wait and see :(
  • Got a ticket open with Garmin. While they investigate I fired up a new linux OS and reran the test. Still broken. So its not a client issue.

Either something with my ISP (Unlikely as I tried a anonymous proxy in the US and still have the same error), or a issue at Garmin. Wonder if its something with my profile?
