Where is the preview map when sharing to facebook?

When i complete a run i share it to my facebook profile using the Garmin connect Share button on the upper right corner of the page. For the last year the Share dialog pops up and shows me a preview map of my run, which also appears on my timeline on my facebook. The Run i did yesterday does not show a preview map, it only shows a Default Garmin connect Image on my post.

I would like to get the preview map to appear, How do i do this. is something broken on the Garmin Connect site, like the share button internal coding? If you scroll down on my facebook profile my other Runs show a preview map.

The run i did yesterday shows a "add this sharing" link which i think something changed on the Garmin connect webstie, share button coding..

I wanted to get the preview map to appear on my facebook profile when i share a Run, can anybody help me?

    that wont help

Try updates & downloads GPSMAP 60CSx software to version 4.00

    That wont help. Ill explain.

I have an older OS and when i complete a run i import my run through the web page. Instead of using the Garmin software to import my runs. The Garmin software essentially does the same thing, it automated.

If you go to https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities then select "Import" on the upper right hand part of the screen.

Its not required to use the Garmin software, you can use import instead.

I heard from Garmin customer service about this. They said: "The issue you are referring to is something that we are aware of and are working hard towards a resolution, however, we do not have a timeframe for this to be completed as yet."

Ok.. hopefully they will fix it regardless of time frame..
  • This is still not sorted

This problem is approaching a month and it still exists....

  • Come on Garmin sort it!!!!!!
  • Very annoying ! As a result of this I've stopped sharing my activities with Garmin Connect and went back to Nike+.

By the way, I like how they color the GPS track according to my speed (red means slow, the greener the faster) ! Would be nice if Garmin could implement this instead of the standard red track.

    Facebook upload rubbish

Yep, I'm having the same problem. This has been documented here for long enough for Garmin to sort it out. The question is, why do they break something that used to work and why haven't they fixed it yet? More campaigns on social media needed to embarrass them into action.

    Obviously

obviously this isnt getting fixed by complaining in a forum. Does anyone know another method to get in touch with Garmin. 2 or 3 options would be great to find out
