My device is a 910xt.
Same issue as mentioned by other users. Activities seem to transfer, but when I go to Garmin Connect, they don't show.
I've done several tests with the following methods without luck.
Win7 on a Asus laptop (Garmin Express and Garmin Ant Agent) - Nothing
OSX El Capitan on a mid 2007 iMac (Garmin Express and Garmin Ant Agent) - Nothing
Garmin Training Center (Win/Mac)- It works, but it only shows the activities there. Impossible to transfer to GC.
My tests were made with and without Garmin Express and Garmin Ant Agent at the same time installed.
I think that something in the way GC accepts data has changed, because of they way our old devices record activities.
As an user commented, I don't think it has to be with old computers. My iMac runs the latest OS and Garmin Express, so the protocols are up to date.
Please, any kind of advice on this subject would be nice. I can upload manually my activities via Garmin Training Center saving to TCX and manual upload to GC. But IT'S A PAIN!.
Thanks!
I am also having the same problem just now as you all. I have a Forerunner 405 and a fairly recent MacBook Air. All was fine but my run last Wednesday and anything since does not show in Connect even though express says it was transferred.
Wait! ANT agent doesn't work any more? Why not?! That is totally the only way to upload with my 910xt as it has no blue tooth....just like all the other thousands of devices out there! There has to be another source as the cause of the problem....
pshare,
I am using ANT agent, but why would it not work anymore? Garmin certainly hasn't been in touch to give me a heads up about something like that; but then, their customer service has failed me before.
Changing to garmin express is no good as the reason I'm still using ANT agent is because express has never worked with my watch / computer in the past. But that is another issue!
I can't speak for Garmin but I look at the forums every day and I see where people were told that ANT Agent no longer worked. From what I understand, Garmin did announce it a very long time ago but people are starting to feel it now on some devices.
