How do I get to "Classic View"?

I just started and got "Modern view". I remember at start-up, it said something about how to get to "classic view" but I cannot find it anywhere.
  • Are you saying that when you choose the head & shoulders icon on the left, the first option "Switch to Classic Temporarily" isn't there?

If so, try a different browser.

Are you saying hat when you choose the head & shoulders icon on the left, the first option "Switch to Classic Temporarily" isn't there?

In both FireFox and IE (don't know which version) on PC Windows 7, 'head & shoulders' shows options 'view profile', 'settings', 'help', 'take a tour', sign out'.
But thanks to a direct link earlier in this thread, I can now get to classic directly.

That option is no longer there in the latest Connect version.
  • Interesting. The Classic option was there 2 days ago.
Garmin did say they would retire it.

I guess the only option to get to classic now is to use the link in post #3 until it doesn't work any longer.
  • Are you talking about this: https://connect.garmin.com/dashboard ?

I still get sent over there sometimes when I click on the summary report. There are still a couple of cool features in the old software that have not been brought into the modern interface yet.

This is awesome, thanks. I prefer the course player from the classic view when I want to step through my run and see exactly how fast I was going where and when. There isn't a feature like this in the modern view, I don't believe.
