Hmm, my Vivofit2 appears to have started syncing new activities again this morning, but not the two activities from yesterday.
Step count also appears to be correct so far today.
I tried a few things last night but they didn't seem to help then, like: - remove and reinstall the app on my iphone6 - reboot my phone - remove and re-add the Vivofit2 device.
Woke up this morning, started an activity while doing things around the house for about an hour, sync'd it up and all was good.
Heading out for a run shortly, will see how it goes.
I did a test walking activity and that synced straight away. I also connected my Fenix 3 to my PC using the cable and managed to manually upload this morning's run. Hopefully it will all work fine now.
The calorie count now differs between the unit and the app, unit shows 1140, app shows 1221.
Grrrrr
UPDATE: Just back from a run, the steps and calories sync'd across to the app but the activity does not appear anywhere and the calorie count it still out, 1515 on the unit and 1599 on the app.
I spoke with Garmin here in Sydney, Australia, twice today.
First call it was suggested I uninstall and reinstall, remove and re-pair the unit, even to install Garmin Express and sync via the ANT stick but none of these suggestions worked.
Second call I was asked to send some kind of proof that the step count at least wasn't syncing so I sent a video file of me tricking the unit adding steps by shaking it, then syncing it with different #s at the end.
It would be a shame but I'll return it and buy something else if they can't get this sorted soon.
Same issue here. What baffles me is why Garmin is unable to understand that the issue is on their end. Unpair/pair again, remove Garmin Express/re-install get rid of the Mobile app/re-connect. The user should not have to go through this. It was working then all of a sudden it just breaks. smh
My list of issues since the software update is as follows: - steps do not sync correctly - calories do not sync properly - activities involving heart rate data do not sync at all - the calorie burn calculations are dramatically different. A cardio + weights workout used to run about 1500 cals over 2 hours now it reads only 300.
This thing is junk right now and I am looking for alternatives and to take the thing back for a refund.
