My sleep and step detail is not working at all, stopped completely on 10/9 as well. I noticed some missing data on the 8th (and I believe missing sleep activity on the 7th). I checked against my 920xt over the weekend thinking my almost-year-old vivofit was not working, and that didn't record the activity details either. I called Garmin today and was told they do know about it, and they are working on it. No ETA. :( I wonder if the data will show through once they correct the problem? I have several friends with vivofits and they are still syncing data fine as of this morning.
Vivofit sleep tracking not working since 10/09/15??
My Vivofit has not been working properly since the 9th. Even though it records steps the activity/movement is not being recorded. I use it with weightwatchers and so far the only way to get it to work is have the data sent to Apple HealthKit where weight watchers can read the data. The problem is, Apple HealthKit is not recognizing the data without the times associated with it so HealthKit does nothing with the data.
I was the one to initiate the case at Garmin as I was having issues as of the 7th. I've been using a vivosmart and a vivofit since the issue began. The issue is Connect not the bands. Last night, my vivosmart gave me an auto-sleep graph that finally made sense. My vivofit doesn't show anything.

Philip I have added the additional notes to your open case. Also the days that are not showing sleep is a new thing. We have received multiple reports from customers who are missing sleep data. We are aware of the issue and we are working to resolve it as soon as we can. At this time the status page has been updated to reflect this issue.
The problem with sleep tracking seems to be wide spread from my limited research. Mine and a friend's also stopped after 10/9 so it would seem Garmin may have had some type of update to some software at that time which resulted in this issue. I certainly hope the fix is coming sooner versus later. I love my vivovit2 as I am sure others do too and want to take advantage of it's full functionality.
