New 2.13 version iOS app bugs! (Part II)

Hi Guys,
There are still outstanding issues even after trying the fix described here:

I thought it pertainent to start listing the outstanding issues here.
I will compile my particular issues later this eveing but for those of you that have time. Please chime in.

    Activities will not load

    Activities will not load via Bluetooth since iOS 2.13 update. I have deleted app and reinstalled...NOTHING. The status bar moves barely claiming to be "syncing". Nonsense. Then it swill go green and say "sync complete". Again nonsense. These gremlins are killing me.
  • Just wanted to add that I am also having the Bluetooth uploading problem with my Edge 1000. So it does not seem to be model specific.

    I had to go "old school" this morning after my bike ride and connect my 1000 to my PC via USB to upload my activity.

    Fixed for me too. Checked the location services prior and confirmed it was missing after reinstalling it until starting a live track session.

  • Can't install or delete any Connnect IQ apps, the GCM App is always saying that it can't connect to the web service. If I open the App Store via GCM, it is behaving like safari and offering me to install GCM.

    New IOS connect update does NOT synch both devices (920xt and vivosmart)

    I am having sync issues with my vivosmart - it says it syncs but does not report steps or sleep - I have the 920xt paired also (which the new version is supposed to support) and it connects and synchs fine - very frustrating - have tried impairing and re-pairing but that did not resolve the problem -
  • Upload failed

    810 connects with 'phone OK but just seems to want to sync ( which app tells me is complete). When I try to upload a ride, it just tries to sync again (& completes, it seems), but upload fails.

    Having issues with the new iPhone update too.
    Unit was syncing fine manually when I hit upload ride on the Edge 810, now since the update it keeps saying sync fail. Even though you can see it syncing on the app. Also live tracking is working fine so the connection is there.
    Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still the same issue.


    Don't bother to reinstall, it won't fix it.
    Did it nothing change, no sync and edge 810 is shutting down by itself.
  • Missing device settings. After upgrading to GCM 2.13, device settings on the app for the vivosmart just shows Auto Upload. I am no longer able to find the settings for screen orientation, or any other device settings like default screen, etc.

    No device settings, no alarm

    The alarm function is gone.
