Data exchange with My Fitness Pal

Garman connect has not gotten calorie consumed data from My Fitness Pal for 4 day. MFP has not gotten any activity data in that same time. Anyone else seeing similar issues?

I had a similar problem last month, but it only lasted about 36 hours.

I'm having the same issues, calories consumed is not feeding from my fitness pal to garmin. Very frustrating as use My Fitness Pal food diary a lot and was looking forward to seeing results of consumed calories to used. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting with no success. Disappointed

I'm having the same issue with syncing my exercise tracking:(
  • While they may be related, these are two separate issues.
    1. The OP is not seeing calories entered I to MFP synced back to GC (as calories consumed). I'm seeing the same thing.
    2. Exercise adjustment is not going into MFP. This is what the post says that they are working on. Unfortunately, that post specifically says that #1 above is not an issue.

Just bought a vivosmart & FR220. Love the devices, but between the Bluetooth issues and now the MFP issues, I'm not off to a great start :(

For those having issues with getting MFP data INTO Garmin Connect you can manually pull in the Garmin Connect web UI. That has always been successful for me even when automatic sync'ing did not work.

I can get data into GC from MFP, that has not been a problem in my case. But the auto posting of exercise calories back to MFP has not worked for over a week now. I'm not sure how valuable that is anyway because the BMR calories GC reports is way off....so much so I wouldn't even want the data posted to MFP, it's quite useless!
  • Any new info on this? I had no problems on my iphone. The minute I switched to the new Galaxy and loaded the apps I lost it. Garmin can't get calories from MFP and MFP can't get activity. Is there something I can try or is this just coincidence (that it so happened at the same time as my phone switch) and wait and see if it gets resolved?

Bought a vivofit and vivosmart and 910t and your application synch from garmin connect to myfitnesspal is junk. What are you going to do to fix this issue? I have spent good money on your products and am now close to returning your gear to switch to Fitbit since their applications seem to work fine. Please let me know what you are doing to fix these ongoing issues.

Got a vivofit Christmas got it synced ok and then add MFP to my iPhone. I am having the same problems. No consumed Calories is going from MFP to Connect. No exercise calories are going into MFP. Also getting the same activity appearing 2 or 3 times in connect. deleted them and they haven't come back.
Also noticed that When you go to steps tab in MFP it has "don't track steps" selected when you try and select the "Add a Device" to connect the vivofit to MFP, Garmin Connect isn't even a choice to make! Maybe thats the problem. It's very frustrating and kills the motivation something the apps are trying to increase.
