Garmin Connect Mobile Updated Home Page

It’s terrible.

  • there’s one crucial thing Garmin doesn’t understand yet. It’s us people who are on this forum, we’re the minority that cares about Garmin and what they do. It’s us who are willing to invest our time in providing feedback, making their products better. It’s us who can be Garmin’s the most devoted army of fans if they listen or become their worst critics if they ignore us. And the rest of their users are just people who barely even benefit from using every function there is. Garmin is not your fancy Apple Watch and even if they did try to become one they won’t succeed. They have already chosen a different path.  And if it wasn’t for us then those people would most likely never see any of those features being honed and perfected. It’s a sad thing to see that we are not being taken seriously.

  • Same.  I have to open the card to see more accurate data. For example, stress card shows 18 but when opening to see the graph, it shows a different number. A number the is more accurate with past data

  • Agreed. It is awful. They need to reset it

  • I agree, new crap is overdone and not what I need, totally sucks!

  • Agree! New app is overdone and not what I want to see. I’m not able to edit it how I need it, totally sucks!

  • It is the worst!!! It pisses me off. They should give people the option!

  • Just to show you how the app is working for some people I was lucky enough to get my sleep data to actually populate the tile last night. Please take note of the sleep score on the training readiness. The training readiness on the watch and the tile both say 83 but when you tap the tile the value is different at 27 - pretty significant change in readiness wouldn’t you say? Probably because of the sleep score changing from 57 to  35. The sleep score tile and its deeper data match. So I am going to say this is not an issue with my watch as Garmin has indicted and it is an issue with the app itself. Please ignore that it has me sleeping for almost 11 hours, I was reading before sleep and it always counts that as sleep. Garmin and its  sleep tracking accuracy but that is another thread all together and why I wear an Oura ring which had me at a sleep score of 79 which is more in line with how I felt I when I woke.

Also note that the HRV status card indicates balanced while the training readiness indicates that unbalanced readiness could be the cause of my low score - so which is it?

I use common sense when determining how to train and I listen to my body so I don't rely on these stats to tell me how hard to train but some might.

Some people are having serious issue with this app since the upgrade and it is not the hardware - I just don't see how anyone can deny this.

  • I hate this new homepage, can I change it back??
